    Old Dominion Ride Sponsors

The Old Dominion Endurance Ride, Inc would like to extend our sincerest THANK YOU to all the wonderful sponsors that have stepped forward over the years to help us raise the funds necessary to meet our annual goals. Without their support we would be hard pressed to offer the educational opportunities, ride, and trail conservation that have made our nonprofit organization such an overwhelming success.

Asgard Arabians - Since 1998 Asgard Arabians has donated a young Arabian of their finest breeding to the OD as a raffle horse. Dr. Tom and Halldis Sayvetz have many outstanding horses for sale, and several of their horses are now making names for themselves in the endurance world, including Heraldic who won the OD, Tevis, and AERC NC all in the same year, all with Best Condition (or equalivant) trophies -- the only horse in the world to have accomplished this incredible sweep. Asgard Arabians is located in Sinks Grove, WV 24976. Please give them a call to make an appointment to see them: Telephone (304) 645-1670. You can also visit their website at: http://www.asgardarabians.com/

Entenmann's - Have you seen those boxes and boxes of pastries, cookies and Breakfast Bars at all the OD rides? Well the great people at Entenmann's have been donating all those goodies to help us lure unsuspecting new volunteers and to keep old timers coming back for more. Many thanks for your support!!! USA Cranberry East Endurance Ride - Since 2004 Patti Pizzo, Ride Manager for the USA Cranberry East Endurance Ride (a 2 or 3 day endurance ride in Warton State Forest, New Jersay), has donated the proceeds of her yearly benefit ride to the OD. This is a major contribution that goes a long way towards supporting the Old Dominion rides and organization. Thanks, Patti!!!

Betty De Mar Mueller - Betty is a marvelous artist and longtime OD member who hand-makes and donates those fabulous and much sought-after Ride turtle awards. We have known riders to battle over who gets to come in last -- just to get these beautiful artistic trophies. Call or email her at (540) 85-6983 or demar@cfw.com to see her work.

Country Aire Farms - For many years Mary Coleman, a lifetime OD member, has given best condition awards for the OD and Fort Valley, and now also donates the optimum time awards for OD's Limited Distance rides. Mary has great waterproof blankets (made to fit Arabs), rump rugs, sponges and hay flake bags. Call or e-mail her today at (814) 448-2821 or caf@innernet.net.

Equine Performance Tech - Roger Rittenhouse is a lifetime member of the OD and every year sponsors the Rookie Award of a V-MAX heart monitor for the first horse and rider that complete the OD as their first 100 mile ride. Roger's expertise with heart monitors is unmatched and he can definitely help out first time users. EPT is the manufacture of the V-MAX Equine Heart Rate Monitor. For information call 1-615-557-7605 (cell). For website see: http://www.vmaxept.com

Ann Pfeiffer was a long-time supporter of the OD and has donated many prizes over the years to many of our OD rides. Our very special thanks to Ann for being one of the OD's enduring friends.

Hawthorn Hill Morgans - donate a prize to the winner of the 100 mile

Teddy Lancaster - donate prizes towards the OD team winners

Maggie Price (deceased 2007) - Donated the First to Finish perpetual trophy for the Old Dominion 100.

Keith and Mary Margaret Byergo - donate the Old Dominion 100 high vet score award.

Doug Lietzke - donate the First To Finish Cavalry Award for the Old Dominion 100. (610) 323-8844 or Lietzke1@aol.com

John and Jennifer Alexander - donate the Old Dominion 100 Cavalry award, given to the cavalry horse judged best condition the next morning.

Lynn Gilbert - donate a prize to the Cavalry winner.

    THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH!
